Glass fiber cloth product description:
Glass fiber stands as one of the most coveted inorganic non-metallic materials, renowned for its extraordinary features, including superior insulation, remarkable heat resistance, robust corrosion resistance, and exceptional mechanical strength. This phenomenal material is meticulously created through a high-temperature melting process utilizing six essential ores: pyrophyllite, quartz sand, limestone, dolomite, borocalcium, and boromite. The result is a fiber whose monofilament diameters range from mere microns to over 20 microns, approximating about 1/20th to 1/5th the thickness of a human hair. Each fiber bundle consists of hundreds or even thousands of these monofilaments, culminating in a glass fiber cloth with a smooth, visually appealing finish, uniform woven density, and a soft texture. This ensures excellent adhesion even on irregular surfaces. Its versatility finds broad applications across various sectors, including industry, electronics, civil engineering, construction, and national defense.
