Glass fiber, a standout performer among inorganic non-metallic materials, offers a host of significant advantages including superior insulation, exceptional heat resistance, robust corrosion resistance, and remarkable mechanical strength. This material is ingeniously crafted through a high-temperature melting process using six key ores: pyrophyllite, quartz sand, limestone, dolomite, borocalcium, and boromite. The result is a fiber with monofilament diameters ranging from several microns to over 20 microns, about 1/20th to 1/5th the width of a human hair. Each fiber bundle consists of hundreds or even thousands of these monofilaments. The glass fiber cloth boasts a smooth, aesthetically pleasing appearance, uniform woven density, and soft texture, ensuring excellent adhesion even on uneven surfaces. Its applications span across numerous sectors including industry, electronics, civil engineering, construction, and national defense.
